The Allied People’s Movement has postponed the official unveiling of the presidential campaign office for Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, and his running mate, Dauda Daura.
The event, earlier scheduled for Thursday, September 3, 2026, will now take place on Monday, September 7, 2026.
The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Abubakar Yusuf, announced the change in a statement on Tuesday, according to the Special Adviser on Media to the Oyo State Governor, Sulaimon Olanrewaju.
The unveiling is scheduled to hold at the Makinde/Daura Presidential Campaign Office at 43 Agadez Street, Wuse 2, Abuja, by 11am.
The party urged its leaders, stakeholders and members to take note of the new date and make the necessary arrangements to attend.
“APM urges all our leaders, critical stakeholders and teeming members to note this change of date and be guided accordingly,” the statement said.
The party also apologised for any inconvenience caused by the change.
The development comes as political activities intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections, with parties and political groups beginning to position their candidates and structures ahead of the presidential contest.
