Oyo Police Commissioner Visits NSCDC to Strengthen Security Collaboration

In a move to reinforce inter-agency cooperation, the Commissioner of Police, Oyo State Command, Abimbola Ayodeji Olugbenga, on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Command in Oyo State.

The visit underscores ongoing efforts to deepen collaboration between the Nigeria Police Force and the NSCDC in tackling security challenges across the state.

During the engagement, both leaders discussed strategies to enhance synergy, intelligence sharing, and coordinated operations aimed at improving safety and security.

The NSCDC Commandant, while receiving the Police Commissioner, commended the Oyo State Police Command for its role as the lead internal security agency, noting its continued efforts in maintaining law and order.

He also reaffirmed the Corps’ commitment to sustained partnership with the police to ensure more effective and efficient security service delivery in the state.

The meeting highlights the importance of unified action among security agencies in addressing evolving threats and maintaining peace within Oyo State.
