The Court of Appeal sitting in Ibadan on Wednesday adjourned the case involving the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) over the Ibadan Elective Convention sine die.

The court also formally granted the party leave to resolve the matter amicably. It, however, stated that if the dispute could not be settled, the parties must revert to the court.
In its directive, the court urged the lawyers to provide proper counsel to their clients during settlement talks and advised them to be time-conscious, especially in light of the recently issued electoral timetable by INEC.
TruthVanta reports that the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja had recently invalidated the PDP’s Ibadan Elective Convention, which saw the emergence of Kabiru Turaki SAN as National Chairman.
