The Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, has congratulated Bashorun Akinwale Akinwole, popularly known as Wolekanle, on his appointment as Chief of Staff to Governor Seyi Makinde, and Mrs. Aderonke Adedayo on her appointment as Director-General of the Oyo State Due Process Office.
Ogundoyin described the appointments as recognition of the appointees’ experience, dedication to public service and capacity to contribute to the development of the state.
In a congratulatory message, the Speaker said the appointments reflected Governor Makinde’s confidence in their abilities to discharge their responsibilities effectively and support his administration’s commitment to good governance and sustainable development.
He noted that the Chief of Staff plays a central role in coordinating executive activities, implementing policies and maintaining effective communication between the governor and key stakeholders in government.
Ogundoyin expressed confidence that Akinwole’s experience, political understanding and knowledge of Oyo State’s political landscape would be valuable in his new position.
The Speaker also congratulated Adedayo on her appointment as Director-General of the Oyo State Due Process Office, describing the office as an important institution for promoting transparency, accountability, fairness and value for money in public procurement and government spending.
He expressed optimism that her appointment would strengthen the state’s procurement processes, improve compliance with established regulations and boost public confidence in the management of government resources.
