President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Nigeria after spending about four weeks in Europe on what the Presidency described as a working vacation.
Tinubu arrived in Lagos from Paris on Tuesday evening aboard the Nigerian Air Force One, ending weeks of public discussion over his prolonged absence from the country and the questions raised about governance while he was away.
His return comes shortly after Vice President Kashim Shettima also returned from the 81st United Nations General Assembly, where he represented the President and led Nigeria’s delegation.
